HALO is Breaking the Sound Barrier of Thought

From the invasive nature of certain electroencephalogram (EEG) systems, akin to Elon Musk’s Neuralink, to the challenges presented by signal noise in EEG technology, a reliable, non-invasive brain-to-computer interface seemed out of reach.

Boom! The Unbabel team discovered the potential of (electromyography) EMG systems. EMG, commonly used to measure muscle responses, provided a less noisy and more reliable signal. By syncing an EMG system with a generative AI model, they pioneered a new channel of communication, transforming fleeting thoughts into coherent messages.
