Elon Musk's Neuralink is taking a monumental step by recruiting patients for its first-ever human clinical trials. The aim? To let people control a computer keyboard using nothing but their thoughts. This breakthrough trial specifically targets patients with quadriplegia due to cervical spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
ChatGPT and DALL-E 3 Unite!

Jerome Pesenti, a former Meta AI VP, has launched Sizzle, an AI-powered learning app and chatbot. It's a free app that provides step-by-step solutions for math and word problems in subjects like physics and chemistry, catering to students from middle school to college. Sizzle also offers grading, step regeneration, multiple answers, and photo uploads for assignments. Unlike some apps that simply provide answers, Sizzle acts as a tutor, guiding students through problem-solving and allowing them to ask questions for better comprehension.

YouTube's new Dream Screen feature enables users to create AI-generated video backgrounds by typing their ideas, aiming to attract more creators to the platform, which currently has 70 billion daily views. While limited to selected creators for now, Dream Screen is set to be publicly available next year.

Utilizing generative AI, these mechanical chefs are learning tasks like whisking eggs and pouring liquids. They aim to master up to 1,000 complex skills by the end of 2024. TikTok Puts a Label on AI
TikTok is rolling out a new feature that requires creators to label their content if it was made using AI tools. Aimed at fostering transparency, the AI label will appear below a creator's username, and the platform will also start testing automatic labeling for AI-generated content.
Salesforce Plans to Aquire Airkit.ai
Salesforce has declared its intentions to acquire Airkit.ai, a low-code platform designed to assist e-commerce enterprises in constructing AI-driven customer service agents. The specific terms of this acquisition have not been made public. Airkit, headquartered in Redwood City, California, was established in 2017 by Adam Evans and Stephen Ehikian. It's worth noting that they had previously sold a prominent big data startup named RelateIQ to Salesforce for $390 million in 2014.
Microsoft Injects AI into SwiftKey
Microsoft is enhancing its SwiftKey mobile keyboard app for iOS and Android with AI features. This app replaces the default keyboard and learns your typing style for faster typing. The updates include AI camera lenses, stickers, an AI editor, and the ability to create AI images within the app.
